Bereavement Ministries
A trained group of ministers meet with members of the family of the deceased to plan the funeral liturgy. They also assist the priest in the Rite of Vigil (attend the funeral home visitation) and the funeral mass. They meet quarterly to discuss new procedures. Prayer Ministries
Many in the parish family are no longer able to participate in ministries that require physical effort. We suggest that these people join our ministry of prayer which involves saying daily prayers—your choice—for the needs of St. Joseph parish and the entire church.
