Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus council serves the Three-Rivers-Miami Heights area by providing programs to exemplify charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Programs are geared at the youth and families of the local parishes and community. The Knights of Columbus provide financial contributions for local charities, including the mentally disabled, local community social services like the Three Rivers School District Special Education program, and the Margaret Rost School. Events include the Lenten fish fry, Christmas parties, family picnics, family movie nights, ice cream socials, speaker programs, and many other programs to provide members and their families with the enjoyment they need in today’s hectic society. Ladies Society
The Ladies Society is the official society of the parish. Its purpose is to meet the spiritual needs of the parish. The group has two fundraisers a year to pay for bread and wine for all Masses, candles for the altar, and flowers when possible. The society buys all the altar linens and members take care of them at their own expense. They also supply the Hospitality Room with the basics such as coffee, sugar, cream, dishcloths, and towels. Arts & Crafts Group
Women of the parish meet Tuesday mornings after Mass. They share ideas for new craft projects and quilts. The items made during this time are sold at the Ladies Society’s Annual Boutique, held in the fall If you are interested in the Arts and Crafts group, please call the parish office.
Adult Choir
During the choir season, the adult choir sings at the 11:00 AM Sunday Mass, and rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM from September through part of June. The group is open to those 18 years of age and older. Thet not only learn to sing harmony with melody as they minister music, but often experience a social element within the “choir family." No experience or knowledge of music skills are needed, but an informal placement session is required.
